Introducing Jyotish & Nakshtras/Fixed Star Constellations

Jyotish or Jyotisha from Sanskrit, its etymological meaning is giving the light of knowledge from the Sun. A list of 27 stars called the Nakshatras or Asterisms or Star Constellations form the backbone of Jyotisha. In essence, the ancient Scholars used Nakshatras as a way of time keeping and evaluating the nature and quality of time.
